This unique in character holiday residence is actually a treehouse. Solid bamboo pillars lift the structure at 16 feet / 5 meters off the ground, placing it right amidst the emerald green crowns of the lush vegetation of the surrounding jungle. Bamboo is the main construction material for the entire structure, inside and out.

Bamboo splits create a strong grid forming a double curvature shell and integrate architecture with the environment in a perfect relationship between man-made structure and nature. Encircled from three sides with bamboo-grid walls, the house faces spectacular views towards rice terraces through an entirely open front façade. Bamboo splits are also used to build the interior floor which extends into a curved open terrace.

The interior is an open-plan, wall-less space ever inspired by the adjacent natural environment. The centerpiece is a custom-made circular canopy bed with its main frame made of bamboo, as are all other furniture pieces. Every element of this organic space is designed to bring pleasure in a relaxed ambiance and a unique experience while enjoying the beautiful Balinese scenery.

Bamboo furniture is complemented by natural wood structures, natural amber stone items, and soft natural fiber textile and airy curtains. A bathroom and a toilet cave are added to the main shell-structure to provide convenience in maximum comfort and privacy.
