This cheerful home in Amsterdam is pretty, relaxing and filled with marvelous pieces of furniture and accessories found at thrift shops and local bazaars. Filled with light from the large windows, the apartment is a mix of colors, patterns and eclectic pieces that bring it to life and make it a fun place to live.
The mix and match furniture has mainly been purchased locally or seems to be recycled. Pastel and bright colors look great against the white walls, giving the whole place a homely feel. White wooden floors reflect light and are the perfect place for the wonderfully patterned scatter rugs.
Retro styled hanging lights, potted plants and wall decorations made from shapes cut out of patterned wall paper are the fantastic finishing touches of this cheerful home where you could relax after a hard day at work. We love the way that the owner’s individuality and flair for color can be seen through the pretty accessories, decoration and furniture.
