When you step inside this Italian apartment you are met with a sight you would not quite expect. This rustic apartment is full of wooden features that give it a whole new dimension and make it a great place to spend your vacation. Situated in Cortina d’Ampezzo the apartment was designed by Gianpaolo Zandegiacomo for a unique holiday experience that all visitors adore.
An emphasis on using natural materials means you will find that wood features strongly in every room, from the beamed ceilings to the wooden sink in the nicely fitted bathroom. The interior decoration is superb with an attention to detail that is rarely seen in holiday apartments these days. For instance antlers have been used to create an unusual light fitting over the large dining table; wall sconces feature various alpine themes and have a quirky look to them – and we love the toy sheep that stands in the corner of the living area.
A well appointed wooden kitchen has all of the amenities you could need, while the bathroom houses a glorious wooden bathtub where you could spend time relaxing. This rustic apartment is truly stunning and has become one of our favorites for this year.
