Remember this charming store with vintage interior in Madrid? Well, today we found another inspiring place to visit in Spain. This time it’s an eclectic style hotel located in the heart of the Raval District in Barcelona. The Lagranja architecture studio completely redesigned an old building, transforming it into this very stylish Chic & Basic Ramblas Hotel (book here). The entire interior is dedicated to the 60’s culture, and the vintage theme is incorporated everywhere with a cool modern twist, though. The icons of the 60`s are all around…in the middle of the hotel lobby you can find an amazing pistachio Seat 600 – the first mass produced Spanish car, or an enormous “peseta” used as an original table. Oh, and what about the reception desk made out of real colorful suitcases and travel bags?! How creative! Each detail in this hotel gives its visitors a true taste of the fantastic 1960’s Barcelona and the following photos prove it. Enjoy!
