With stunning views of the sea this once shabby beach house has undergone an amazing transformation to become a much loved and beautiful family beach residence.

Once a neglected and run down shack the incredible transformation to chic beach home was the brain wave of owners Lisa Marie and Scott Brooks, who bought the property in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida after seeing potential for improvement. The Brooks family spent $120,000 on the amazing transformation and now have a beach front property that they can be proud of.

Gone are the plywood floors, replaced with beautiful hardwood throughout the house; the kitchen has been totally remodeled and fitted with marble counters, stainless steel appliances and maple units that have a lovely warm glow.

The dining area has been refurbished and now has French doors allowing natural light to stream in leading onto an impressive outside decking area perfect for entertaining. The living areas are now light, bright and airy. They are furnished with comfortable sofas, plush rugs and an array of storage solutions. The focal point of the main living space is a beautiful built in fireplace which is a great improvement on the old wood burning stove that featured previously.

Splashes of color are found throughout the house and really do complete the overall decor – the green hues of plants help to bring the outdoors inside and the wooden ceilings with their pitched shape add height and interest to the house. Natural fabrics and materials are everywhere in the furniture and style of the interior design.

The exterior of the property has been given a fresh coat of white paint making the whole renovation complete and bringing the house back to life. This is one renovation that will be cherished for many years to come.
