Today we’ve found an amazing home situated on the shores of the Colorado River in Texas, USA. It impressed us the moment we saw it, so we were eager to share it with you.

The nontraditional project is called the Edgeland House and it was inspired by the old Native American „pit-house” – a kind of a home almost buried underground.

The modern re–interpretation of the old American housing also takes advantages of the earth’s mass to keep the dwelling warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

The designers from Bercy Chen Architecture Studio have not only created the house with unique intense angles outside, but have also provided the interior with the latest technology such as geothermal heat exchange and thermal heat storage.

The things we like the most are the bold vaulted ceilings and the green roof all covered with grass. Not to miss the smart infinity pool too! Incredible, don`t you think?
